Eyes are open, dry, and bloodshot.
Decisions flow through your mind faster, and time seems to move slower.
How are we looked upon?!? We aimlessly watch the clock tick away, preferably an analog clock would be better then a digital one, but that ticking would most likely hurt the already sensitive ears in this quiet abyss. If you work alone, you ask yourself if not, more then once when you plan to goto sleep…surely if you worked with a partner, that topic would arise everynight at least once…..what about when you do sleep, its not normal sleep! 5, 6, maybe be lucky and get 7 hours of sleep. Each passing week you feel you lose an hour..YOUR NOT ALONE. Your feeling the same effects that our troops are feeling, just without the pressure of impending doom of a terrosist sneaking up on your hole in the ground, or bunker. Dont forget the A/C, and comfort of a late night fast food, or quicki-mart. We are gaining a skill….that has become a necessity for survival to our brothers and sisters over seas.

Ohio Goziamasu,
This is my first post on the security blogosphere. The time on deck is 0451L. We are losing our minds becuase this Simplex alarm system is tripping over a retarded ground wire. It makes a very high pitch noise. Who would have thought that I’m being subjected to more “torture” then those captured Terrorists at Gitmo are allowed to be subjected to….those evil bastards.
Anyways please feel free to comment about our extremely low paying proffession.
>>>Also please write in suggestions for the topic of my next post
